And the whole point of the supe terrorist was to showcase that Vought's making supes to be able to join the military, but they could've given him, like, laser eyes or super strength/speed, but they made him an invulnerable suicide bomber 🤣🤣

It's been literally stated in previous episodes that Starlight is bulletproof. And no, not every supe bulletproof, it depends on the individual superhero. Some aren't even stronger than the average human, like Mesmer. Others might be durable, but not particularly strong; Translucent, for instance, seemed to be only slightly stronger than Butcher, but he was probably the most durable out of all except maybe Homelander.

Black Noir can be hurt with conventional weapons, and I have also an specific argument for it but I don't wanna spoil. His costume is definitely bulletproof, though. A-Train got an exposed fracture from a tire iron (or something of the sort); granted, the blow was delivered by a supe, but Kimiko is not even that strong compared to the Seven and the thing looked fine after the fact, not even bended, which implies A-Train's body is not even harder than iron, so I don't believe he could withstand a .50 caliber bullet like Starlight did.

if anything the iron not bending would be a plothole more than proof that a-train isn't durable, he might not survive a .50 cal but he'd dodge it easily so I guess that qualifies him as bulletproof, they wouldn't accept someone who can be killed with regular weapons into the seven

I mean that's the point right? They're just escalating the fear of terrorists so it's the perfect power for that. It's great easy marketing, and other, more generic powers like speed/strength/laser eyes/etc just link to their own supes they're celebrating as heroes and as basically chosen by God.

I mean yeah, it could be a plot hole, but nothing so far indicates that it is as we've not seen him tank a bullet yet, so I don't understand why we should jump to that conclusion. You're right that he can most likely easily dodge bullets, though he is technically not faster than a bullet. And we've seeen black noir get damaged with regular weapons, but again, I can't point out specifically how or I would be spoiling, so I guess just "trust me bro" lol.

I agree that the point is to escalate the fear, but my argument is that it shouldn't matter what powers the terrorists possess, as long as they're perceived as destructive and too dangerous for non-supe soldiers to handle. As far as I'm aware, Vought has no control over determining what powers a specific person possesses. Take Kimiko, formerly a member of a terrorist group, for example; her powers are somewhat basic but incredibly dangerous to an ordinary person. Most supes' baseline abilities include super strength, durability, or other generic powers, so the link is already there for any future terrorist. Overall, I don't have any major issues with it; I just found it to be an interesting and very funny choice to give this particular character such a specific power.

Idk about how it'll end but s3 is pretty clearly reflecting certain political events, and on one side of said events. I happen to agree with that side, but it definitely felt kinda forced at times in the show. Still a great show tho
