Some people have mistaken my videos for SFM or some other animation program and are usually surprised when I say "It's Gmod!" Here is a tutorial for what I use to animate in gmod. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9RBynRzBdhk And I go back to this video when I want to do an animation study or focus on a particular movement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uDqjIdI4bF4 I started off as a fan of animated mixed fight scenes and had always wanted to make my own, so if you have the same desire, these videos will set you on the right path. Of course, I'm no pro, but I can help anyone who wants to try to animate or maybe wants to dabble in it a little. Again, any questions, tips, or any input is always welcome. - Conflict.

I really like your animations and was thinking of making some myself in the future, one question I do have is where do you get references for your fight moves? Do you just watch combat scenes from movies and shows or is there something else too? regardless your fight choreography is amazing.

Yes, I watch all kinds of fight scenes from movies, shows, and video games, but I mainly look at actual real life professional fights or demostrations. Those have the best poses and you want to use a reference that is as realistic as it can be since animation is an exaggeration of life, especially a fight! Same goes for movement like gymnastics, ballet, and character specific moves.
