Desert Caravanserai (Patreon)

Hi everyone!

Welcome to the Desert Caravanserai! Now what is a Caravanserai I hear you ask? They're roadside inns where weary travellers can properly rest up for a night or two before carrying on their treks through the desert.

In an RPG setting, an idea for this scene might be somewhere for your party to shelter during a sandstorm, or perhaps they snuck into the Caravanserai whilst Djinn and Desert Bandits were prowling around the perimeter.

When we created this scene, we really wanted to focus on the more compact areas of the map to allow it to be more versatile. Hopefully this fits well as any desert city setting, a shady backstreet stall or just somewhere to hide whilst the guards are looking for you!

The music in the preview for this scene is 'Slay the Serpent (Sparse)' from our good friend Will at Music d20.
