Spooky Time [Kancolle] (Patreon)

Oh wow... what just happened, this one came out more menacing that I thought it would! for context, this is Seaplane Tender Hime, a patron request, the request was her but with a different spooky lower body for halloween (the original is a huge creepy mouth with a long tongue and no legs) and I hesitated because is hard to come up with "new parts" but you know you can't fail if you don't try but you also can't success... To get the full resolution picture check the attached file below!! There's no extras or process this time because this is a very rare case. I'll explain more below.

I tried to make a rough sketch for this but it looks more like a speed painting, is pretty much a finished drawing but it took less than the Gabriel Dropout request and more or less the same it took for the RWBY request (so something around 3 to 6 hours), why is that? well is obvious, the style is completely different but even with that said, I guess I was also lucky it worked in the first try... For this, instead of drawing the lines like I usually do, I tried to paint the reflection of light instead because her body is 70% black, this was done in only 2 layer and the second layer is only the red in her eyes, to put it in perspective, the other rough sketch request take 3 or 4 that I join into one and then for the finished colored drawings I need like 30... Another big difference is that I only used one brush and no eraser, to make the edges I "shaped" the grey parts using black and vice versa so yeah is very risky, more like experimental so I don't offer this for request or commissions... Besides, it only work for very particular drawings, imagine a hentai drawing done like this :P The request came from Ignis, I hope he likes it, I'm actually a bit nervous of his reaction... I'm presenting this one alone because even if I put it in the poll and wins (although, the kancolle himes so far hasn't been very popular) there's very little I could do to improve it, to make something like this but better I would have to start from 0.

So well, here you have it! an unexpected halloween spooky drawing!! and now there's only 2 drawings left for the poll.
