Afternoon everyone! Hope you're all having a great Friday and are ready for a restful weekend. Spent a few hours getting this done last night on stream and I'm honestly pretty happy with how she turned out.

Thoughts

From the very start of the sketch I made of this I knew what I wanted to paint as a full illustration. I wanted it to be this sort of relaxing forest scene during the start of a rain shower. 

Typically I worry about every choice I make when it comes to colors and barrage myself with references of photos and art that I like only to really not trust in my own instincts. So this time around I did the complete opposite and just refused to look at any reference. Regardless of accuracy I think overall it turned out nice.

I made sure to be on top of myself about the composition and make sure my focus was clear and readable. I think it's a fun one to look at albeit a little boring/simple as far as camera angle goes.

Admittingly I was trying to give some sort of lustful allure to this piece which I think I failed on. While it can still pass as sensual I missed the mark.

So some little lore bits for our nameless arrow. She's a closet rock music fan which I imagine is looked down on by her clan/family? She keeps her passion hidden typically underneath her uniform as you can see by her undershirt. I started thinking of an idea of her clan using origami looking weaponry/armor. Nothing super thought out just an idea that came to mind based on her bracer and skirt.

I did make two more versions so enjoy the bonus topless variants as my apology for missing last month's illustrations on account of my health issues. *Bows deeply in shame.*

I'm thinking about opening a shop and selling a print of this. Mostly because I'd like it but maybe others would be interested?
