Brittany - Part 21 (Patreon)

The following week went pretty well for Britt. She enjoyed her days at work, Mrs. Cox allowed her to order whatever take out she wanted and as much as she wanted. And of course she kept the house stocked with snacks that Britt wasn’t shy about either. Steph knew her finals were approaching, so she tempted Britt out for a fast food meal just about every night that week. On Tuesday and Thursday, Britt took advantage of her new found shortcut to make her workout more of just a short walk. Each time Britt did something that was in direct opposition to her mothers wishes, she grinned a big smile.
She felt like she was so easily pulling the wool over her mothers eyes. Her mom wanted to starve her back to her old thin physique, and that just wasn’t going to happen on Britt’s watch. Britt too wanted to have her thin body back, but as each day passed and with each rebellious task she pulled off, Britt thought less and less about getting thin, and more and more about her next meal or devious deception. She was having too much fun eating to care about the repercussions, the same attitude that got her into this mess. Each night she caressed her large full belly, totally unaware that each misstep she was taking was only making that belly bigger.
Friday came, and Britt was once again ecstatic to go to work at Mrs. Cox. She was really craving some Chinese, and with Mrs. Cox wallet open, she was free to order as many dishes that tickled her fancy. But just like last Friday, once she arrived she noticed Mrs. Cox not in her normal attire. OK well this just meant they were heading out to lunch right? What were the chances of a Chinese Buffet? Probably zero to none.
“Oh Darling Brittany, I have a special assignment for you today.” Britt waited on bated breath, Mrs. Cox had never disappointed in the past. “I’m going to take you to see my friend Wendy. She’s a nutritionist.” The smile faded from Britt’s face immediately. Why was Mrs. Cox taking her to see a nutritionist? She knew Britt was already losing weight, why did she need a nutritionist to tell her what she already knew. 35 pounds was not that much weight! Britt tried to remain chilled out, and focus on Mrs. Cox's explanation.
“I know your mom has you on this over the top diet, and I just think the advice from a personal nutritionist could help you make better informed decisions for yourself, rather than let your mom dictate.” Mrs. Cox paused to let it sink in a bit more. Britt worried if she had been going too overboard with the takeout and snacks at Mrs. Cox’s house. This was one hell of a way to tell her if that was the case. On the other hand she probably only had her best intentions, right? She wanted to arm Britt with facts, over her mom's irrational diet demands. “I hope this doesn’t make you feel uncomfortable, but for someone your age it’s important to learn about what we put in our bodies.” Britt meekly nodded in agreement, what else was she going to say? Mrs. Cox showed her to the car and they headed off for the clinic.
Britt started to feel butterflies in her stomach as they drove. They fluttered somewhere in that vast belly. ‘It’s not a big deal, you’ve been on a diet since you’ve been home, you have nothing to worry about.’ Britt told herself in her head, as the luxury car gracefully hummed down the street.
Mrs. Cox sat behind the wheel looking effortless and graceful all at the same time like usual. Next to her sat Britt, slightly hunched over and picking at the beds of her nails, partially wishing she was back at the house ‘cleaning’, rather than going on this ‘little detour’ as Mrs. Cox had called it.
The health clinic wasn’t all that far, they didn’t even have to get on the highway to get there, so in a matter of minutes Britt was exiting the air conditioned car and walking across the blacktop towards the small office building. Inside it was kinda what Britt had imagined. Kinda bland reception area full of chairs, nothing state of the art, but not run down either. Britt almost felt like Mrs. Cox’s fat daughter as she stood behind her at the desk looking in all directions but forward, as Mrs. Cox told the receptionist they were close friends with Wendy.
Afterwards Britt took a seat in one of the chairs. It had arm rests, but Britt was still plenty narrow to fit between them. It was her belly which shot out in front of her that was the bigger issue. ‘35lbs…35lbs… it's not that much.’ Britt repeated over and over in her head. She was startled from her trance when she heard Mrs. Cox.
“Would you like some water dear?” she asked.
Britt was too much of a bundle of nerves for that right now, she probably would have split it everywhere from her arm shaking. “Oh no thanks Mrs. Cox, maybe later.” She replied, going right back into her head. The doctor's office wasn’t a fun place for anyone to visit, not that this was a true doctors office, just a nutrition clinic. Britt stared at the rug between her feet for a few minutes until her name was called.
