Update Time Redux -- Posting, Upcoming Stories, And Life Stuff! (Patreon)

Hello hello! It's been a bit, how yall doing! I'm great now that spring has come and things have warmed up. We've even got flowers blooming, which is BALLER.

Anyway, I've got some updates for yall!

Life Updates

It's time -- it's finally time. I got a new job!

After writing full time for a bit, I've come to realize that doing it as an actual vocation is probably not my thing. As much as I love doing it, I also realize that the stuff I really want to write is not exactly stuff I want to put the pressure of success on. If you haven't noticed, I'm not exactly writing to market, here.

SO. I'm going to officially designate writing as a side hustle and go back to work. That's not to say that I'm done though! I'm gonna keep doing this because it's dang fun! Also I do still have those stories sticking around in my head, so yeah.

Which leads me to...

Story Updates

Coincidentally, all this coincides with a few things storywise:

Armageddon -- we are just about done with this story! The final chapter should post sometime today. I hope that it's satisfying and that yall have enjoyed the ride -- it's definitely taught me a ton about writing.

Alone Once More -- Because I don't know how much time work will take, I'll be bringing down my guaranteed Alone chapters to 2 per week. I'm obviously hoping to keep it at three, but I won't promise it until I've settled into the groove of things a bit better. I'll also be using this week to build up a personal backlog so that I can weather the storm better.

(Also, I've gotten super behind with editing the final publication version of alone, so 2 chappies per week will help me get back on track there too.)

Future Stories

We've got a few other stories coming down the pipeline -- for real this time! The first should get posted sometime today, and I can finally tell you more about it.

Legion -- it's an isekai story where a whole friggin Roman Legion gets transported to a fantasy world. They proceed to conquer and wreck house. It's a collab project with Zaifyr, who you may or may not know for his other absurd shenanigans book: All the Dust that Falls. The roomba story! So yeah, we're excited about that.

The first couple chapters are already up for everyone. After that, we're hoping to get one chapter a week up for the $11 tier. If you don't want to upgrade, no worries! It'll go on Royal Road at some point once we've built enough backlog.

Ms. Grimm's Daycare -- Now this is gonna be a fun one. It's a personal project, so no guaranteed date on it yet. I'll start it when I got time and stability back. But it'll be a cozy slice of life fantasy thing, It'll be wholesome, trust me.

(I've also got other personal projects, but I won't promise anything until we're closer to actually getting them out. Till then, they'll just haunt my dreams.)

So yeah! That's it for me! Again, I'm incredibly blessed and thankful for all yall's support and love for this stuff. It really warms my heart. I hope that you never ever ever feel obligated to support, but rather do it because you enjoy these stories. And I also hope that you're as excited as I am for the future, both in stories and in general life.
