I wonder if this episode should've been called "Naive?" There was a lot going that left me scratching my head.

One mantra you need to recite is "trust the writers!' You see boogey men around every corner and I believe other shows have led you to think like that. But on the other hand, it is true that Alex is only slowly coming to the realization that Bobbie has already made through her own difficult journey: Mars is dying and some Martians are taking advantage of that situation! As T Arnold points out, these first three episodes dropped all at once culminating on the first rock hitting Earth. (As you know from the first episode, there were at least 9!). Strap in, the next episode is lit from beginning to end and many think of it as their favorite one! Enjoy! (and trust the writers!!)
