Hehe Diogo the litle Shit! Yeah i think it speaks volumes about us going into an alien place expecting to have the same rules and sense of proportion as us. There was that one moment were that martian sais to Bobby that stopping all the ships wasnt a defensive measure but a massacre and thats so arrogant imo. What do they know what the makers of the ring would consider a defensive measure and why would they think our understanding of morals would apply? i mean they didnt even know humans exsisted! Slowing things down and stopping them when we know what else the station is capable of seems very gentle.

Sorry, but I'm late coming to this watch-along. (Yesterday was a bad day for me.) Tony did a good job explaining the SyFy cancelation timeline; they didn't know for sure during production, but had a strong feeling it would be. The actual announcement was made around the time S3.E5&E6 were airing. Fortunately, Amazon picked it up almost immediately so by the time this episode aired, we knew it would be back...though it took 18 months (18 months of painful waiting.)
