Glad you enjoyed this one. I get a little choked up at the drowning kittens, ngl, but yeah, that's ultimately a sort of inconsequential side story, where Calliope is certainly the meat of this one. Fascinating backstory there for sure, and I hope the show goes long enough to get to the story of their son Orpheus, because it's beautiful and tragic. Was Ric punished enough? I don't know. But everything he cared about was taken away from him, so maybe... Sadly, now we have a long time to wait to get to season 2 and some resolution on that cliffhanger with Lucifer. Regardless, it's been really fun getting a chance to watch along with you and get your reactions to this show. Thanks for watching it and giving it a chance!
