I won't deny that the resolution of the showdown between Dream and The Corinthian was a bit anti-climactic, but at the same time, I'm not sure how it really could have been more. Rose was Corinthian's ace in the hole, and without her, he's ultimately just a dream, and pretty powerless against the Dream King. Plus, as cool and frightening and interesting and creepy as he was, he wasn't really the point of the story. As far as Desire's plans and intentions... my take on is it that Desire doesn't really have a GOAL per se - they are the embodiment of desire. Desire is, by its very nature, sort of an impulsive thing. But as to why they are messing with Dream, I think it comes down to jealousy. Which is more powerful? What drives humanity more, our dreams or our desires? They are not the same thing but they both hold sway over us. And maybe they fight within us from time to time... As far as your questions about who's the most powerful of the Endless, I think they are hard to quantify in that way. They each hold ultimate power over their own facet of existence, but very little power outside of that. And yes, the next episode was originally released as a "bonus" episode, a litle bit after the first 10. It's a self contained episode containing two short vignettes. They are fun little stories that each took up a single issue of the original comic, and are not directly tied in to any of the stories we've seen so far, but they do provide some insight into Dream and his history. I think you'll enjoy them. I've very much enjoyed re-watching this series along with you. Looking forward to the last episode. Oh, and there were some weird audio issues in this one, just want to make sure you were aware. It wasn't terrible, and I doubt you can do anything about it now, but just FYI.
