Quick Note: Part the ???th: the Saga of Almost Being Done Finally (Patreon)

Update: 08/16 — Hey again, guys. I don’t have much strength at the moment. But I’m okay, just dealing with some side effects of having near-zero white blood cells. My transplant went pretty well and I’m just waiting it out, drinking and eating when I can.
I’m okay and wanted to leave an update so I don’t end up scaring anyone.

Hey, everyone. I wanted to leave a note here to say how things are going.
I'm currently still at the hotel near UAB Hospital (in Birmingham, Alabama). I've been here since a week ago today. I had a permcath port put in my chest a few days ago -- never fun. Gonna see about having that taken out very soon after transplant day. >.>
Yesterday, I had my stem cells taken from me at the BMT Unit. That took about 6 hours and there was a possibility of having to do another collection the next morning. They were aiming for 2 million stem cells and ended up getting 4.4 million from me. Hopefully that means I may be able to leave sooner than expected when transplant day comes (on the 11th.)
I'm gonna be admitted on the 5th and receiving chemo 5 times until the night of the 7th. I'm a bit scared, but am hopeful and thankful for everyone's love and support. It's almost over. 😊
I guess I'm fortunate this happened to me while I'm still pretty young.
But thank you all again and take good care of yourselves. I'll be in touch again soon, I'm sure. 😄

(Also, apparently I'm O+ blood type. Bit of random info there. 😄)
