This movie definitely felt like a call back to the Showa era of the Godzilla films. Just a whole lot of crazy, over the top fun! Can't wait to see what they do with the next one! Wingard isn't coming back for it, apparently. So I don't know if the tone is gonna shift. But whatever it turns out to be, I'm gonna be there for it.. no doubt!
