I’m still moving (it’s going slowwww) but I had this realization drawing this page like wow, this creature sure takes a long time to draw. And this environment takes a long time to draw. And these chains all take a long time the draw… so please enjoy watching me make these poor descisions in real time.

Also I tried resizing this for web viewing in csp instead of photoshop this time around, so if you notice a different in how the dots resized and don’t like it just let me know. It saves me the part of the process where I have to dig out the laptop with photoshop on it because I can do it on the ipad this way.

i've totally fallen off of commenting on things because of assorted Events and Problems so i've gotta roll up all of my opinions into one comment i would not blame you for wanting to simplify pages in the future, but the crowd scenes, environments, and textures have all been crazy good. every page is such a banquet of things to look at. gray's pose on this page is really dynamic, and it also gives me a good opportunity to point out how visually distinctive every character is, physically. it's really obvious with gray and jax (hunk vs erotic stick), but every character who's been part of the foreground has had an individualistic body type (but without cartoonish exaggeration). i really like that attention to detail! also the reveal that jax was actually the mastermind behind this little blind date makes shawn's one little moment of doubt way funnier

I love this entire comic, but this page stands out to me as *particularly* gorgeous. I don't have the artistic vocabulary to exactly pinpoint why, but the way the action is framed across panels, the implied motion, the awesome monster design and sense of place you provide with your backgrounds... absolute chef's kiss
