lol sorry didn't finish my entire comment I love how well this page gets their personalities across, even if you took away all the text. They've just met each other again after X time but Giovanni already feels confident making these "intimate and possessive" gestures, while Surge, the guy who's "good at following orders," is just kinda submitting to a more authoritative figure. Surge is the tough many military guy, but Gio was the one talking back and questioning things during the war. (Also just a big fan of the sensuality and how just Giovanni's arm alone, even cut off from their surroundings, still looks *sumptuous* compared to Surge.)

Haha I dunno if this came across but I also kind of wanted to subtly hint he’s like, kind of evaluating Surge here, like, he’s holding his jaw kind of like he’s examining it, and then the thing he settles on a page or two later is “you will feel better if we shave off this scruff”. Originally I write him making some comment about the stubble but ultimately I settled on “it’s not that important to say explicitly, it still makes its own internal logic”
