There’s nothing particularly “wrong” with this guy other than being kinda rude to Gray, but this beat is mostly here to establish the kind of embarrassing encounters Gray’s had that have compounded over the years and made him anxious about sleeping with new people.

As for Gray’s look here’s it’s mostly just a grown out version of the last snapshot in time. He still hasn’t cut his hair or shaved, but he’s got the septum ring and he’s been stretching out his ears. He’s still not taking great care of himself, but he’s starting to take a little more interest in the way he presents himself. The self-care and body mods version of moving to a new place and starting to put up shelves and hang art on the walls.
