Before and after progress (Patreon)

I thumb my pages while I script so I can see my pacing in real time, but that means a lot of the time I’ll just scribble something down and be like “that’s a problem for future Kelly”, in case anyone would like to see the nonsense I leave for myself to sort out later.

Some of the things that may not seem like much but had to be sorted out when I tied down these pages was one, that the creature was basically same pose and same size in the second and fifth panels, so it looked like the same thing pasted on the page twice for no reason and two, the perspective was ridiculous and with the creature still in the water it made it look like Poppy and Shawn were standing like 20 feet away from Gray with absolutely no reason not to just run over to him.
