September work schedule and the future of Image content. (Patreon)

Hey folks,

I'm going to lay out my work schedule this month (Remember that this is not a delivery schedule, just what I will be working on). And giving you an update on the future of Image content going forward.

Also, this month I'll be away for about a week in the middle of the month, so I will have to adapt accordingly. October will be a return to my normal workflow.

There'll be content throughout the month but I'll give you more details about that after I return from my week away when I'll have a better estimate of what I can deliver with the remaining time in September.

My schedule this month this month is to :

- Work on the D TOX gameover.
- Starting work on the Yor set (Lines)
- Getting the polls for the Yor set for Tier III patreons
- Finishing the the Pathetic life final chapter.

That is it, as because of the my time away, there is no point in spreading myself too thin on the Maggie set and or  Barb content, work will resume on these in October as I return to a full month work flow. It's just best that I focus on specific things this month for the reduced work time I have available.


With that being said, I'll address the future of Image related content.

I have spent last week discussing and sharing ideas with some members.

The discussion was about finding the best compromise to allow me to manage the time I need for both game and image content and keep as many of you as happy as I can.

At the end of our discussion session, I think we came up with a good compromise which I shall layout now.

- I will continue to make Image story sets. They are not going away.

- However, while drawing images is not much of an issue, writing story is time consuming and stressful when put under the pressure of strict delivery dates. As such I have decided that just like the game patches, I will now do a "it's ready when it's ready" approach. This will allow me to keep doing such content without risking burning myself out or slowing down game dev just to meet image set strick deadlines. This will also allow better quality with more time spent on grammar and spellchecking.

- However, It is important that I keep putting up content and Tier III and IV perk rewards regularly . With games this will come in the form of progress reports as I did last month to keep everyone up to date with the progress on games and showing some good stuff.  So to make sure that those who are here for image content get content while I work on larger content, here is what I will do to keep you satiated while the work on the larger image story sets is being worked on.

- Image singles or shorts. Basically, putting up votes for characters more regularly for a single image of that character (which maybe some variants to that image like facial expression, gag/no gag etc...) This I can do and delivery quickly and regularly, and not only will it offer good filler content while the current "larger story set" is being worked on, but it will allow more voting power to you as you'll get to vote for more character more often. You will have a greater chance of getting the character you like in the situation you like, just not in a big story set.

- Regular story sets as I said will continue but I will no longer make mega 100+ pages story set. And will limit the scope of them to 40/50 pages max. This is to make sure I don't burn out of them and that they don't take took long to complete as I will spread the work for them as needed. So shorter stories, but while trying to keep the level of detail and quality you would expect from the story set content I did until now. Just be a bit patient, and enjoy the Image singles filler content mentioned above while I finish these bigger story sets.

- When it comes to tier rewards, I will have to adapt things with these new changes in mind. So here is how it will be.
Tier III and higher patrons will get to vote for the characters for the regular "singles" and will still have poles to vote for "scenario options" on the larger story sets.  I must stress that these vote will be more regular then the image story set character votes for obvious reasons. Of course, Tier III will still get access to finished story sets when they are done, along with the new image singles filler as I work on them. So the main difference here will be that, Tier III will get more regular votes (for characters in image singles), but  votes for the main character in the story set will now be Tier IV exclusive. (Which makes more sense because spreading that vote into two rounds for each tier really made no impact as in the end popularity will rule regardless if I spread it in two rounds among two tiers)
Tier IV patrons will get to make suggestions for characters for all the polls, and Will get the final vote for the character to be featured in the main story set (Out of the 6 remaining from the Tier III+ poll) and we will still have suggestion discussions about ideas and content for said image set. Additionally, Tier IV patrons will have access to a image folder where I will post pages done of a current story set as they are done. Think of it as a bit of an early access to early pages. When all pages of said story set are finished, I will immediately make the finished folder available to the Tier III patrons. So I'm not delaying the release of a story set for Tier III patrons, when it's done, it is immediately available to them, Let's just say that I during a week I finish the first twenty pages page of a 40 page set, they can read these first twenty pages early. But once all 40 pages are done, both Tier III and Tier IV get access to it). This is also a good way for me to get feedback on potential typos that I can correct before the final release of the story set.

- Tier I and 2 patrons will keep getting base color and black and white content that will either be from the image singles or the finished story set.

- Although I said that image set will no longer be more then 50 pages, the Yor set will be an exception as this was voted for before said changes. I will still try to keep at 100 pages tops and will not crunch on it, but I'll do my best to deliver it to you end of October if possible (At the very least a part I as I did with Shego, but will try to deliver in one go for this one).

- The single image filler content and update to rewards in regards to polls and such will start in the month of October. Since this month I'll have a bit less work time, I don't want to start on that filler content and focus on the main stuff this month. But October, this will start kicking in.

- Female and Femboy OC content (after I finish the Maggie Femboy set) will fall into the "Singles" category from now one. And long story sets. The upside to this is that you can expect you OC to have a much greater chance from getting picked for an image as the turnover for single will be higher.


That's about it. So the TLDR, story set are not going away, they will just be a bit shorter and I will not tie them to a strict delivery schedule as writing a story takes time. But regular single images (which sometimes variants)  content of your favorite characters will be produced more regularly for you to enjoy as you wait for the main story set to be done. Game content will move at a faster pace now, and I will keep making progress reports to keep you all updated.

I hope you will be understanding with those changes as I believe that this is the best compromise to allow me to push more on game content, keep my mental and physical health in check and still give you all the stuff you love.
