Hey folks,

so made some good progress for the RPG game.

I completely finished the three characters and their differents assets to get the game started.

I can't really post all the image assets here as I would rather you experience the pose variations of the boss and the the continuations of the grab in game. This is for the best as a big part of the game is figuring out what to do depending on visual changes on the boss or Ash. So showing everything now would spoil the surprise.

How ever here are the image assets done:

Ash : Different Facial expressions / A idle pose / a Combat Read pose / Two grab variations linked to fighting D-tox (One of them is in this preview image) / Character sprite for Ash

D-Tox:  Different Facial expressions / Different poses in combat that will queu you on her special attacks / Character sprite

Mag (Item vendor in the game) :   Different Facial expressions /  Character sprite 


With these done. I can start working on the basics of the game.

My priorities are:

      1) Get a decent combat system ready using D-Tox. Tasks are

             - Morph Boss to make her less static (like she's breathing

             - Create basic attacks for both the Boss and Ash

             - Make the Grab status work (With Images popping)  on ash and the conditions to escape and/or avoid it

             - Balance the fight 


      2) Make a first map to explore and Dialog system/UI The tasks are:

             - Create at least Two levels (outside building and Inside First level)

             - Create dialog/story events 

       3) Create items for the vendor to sell and it s currency

     

   So my priority is going to be to get the combat with the first boss done. This Combat system should serve as a basic template for all future bosses. To save time. With some bosses adding new mechanics to make the combat more deep gradually on top of the existing combat basics.


So the reward for the end of the month will be:

    At worst: A demo that lets you fight D-Tox directly. No story or exploration just yet. But you get to test the battle system and enjoy the grabs on Ash

   Very likely to finish: The combat and the basic exploration and intro/story part of the level done. Introducing the world, and characters leading to the first boss fight.

  At best: The Gear/item vendor will be done as well allowing. creating the basis for "progression in the game". If this feature comes later the following month, D-Tox will likely be rebalanced to take Gear grinding into account.


That's it for now. But you can already expect some screen shots next week.
