How to install a mod for RE games ? (Patreon)

Installing a mod for the latest RE games involves a few actions. It is not hard but can be puzzling when done for the first time. Here are the instructions to help you :

1. Install the game the mod was designed for.
2. Download Fluffy's mod manager 5000
3. Place the files in the mod manager's "Games\####\Mods" folder (no need to unpack the RAR archive) where #### is the game's mods folder (RE2R, RE3R, RE7, RE8).
4. Launch the mod manager and enable the mod.
5. Launch the game and enjoy :)

Note : an update occured in august 2022 on RE2RE and RE3RE to introduce raytracing for these games. This changed a lot of files and the mods originally designed for these games are not compatible with the new files. To use a mod that was originally designed for the non-RT version of a game, you must install the non-RT version of the game from Steam :

1. In the steam library right clic on the game.
2. Click on properties.
3. Go to the Beta section.
4. Choose the non-rt option in the menu. The mod can be installed and used as normal after that.
