Madison painting + progress photos + life updates (Patreon)

I haven't actually posted this anywhere yet, I wanted to make sure I had prints in stock in the shop before I did! This is just a little something I did for fun between Feb and March.

Apologies for the lack of updates; I actually wanted to use this to properly announce I'll be taking a break for the month of May. April is still on, so you'll still be charged April 1st (the theme is Fairy kei!). So with that being said, there will be no poll on April 1st.

Multiple reasons for this, 1.) as I mentioned on my Instagram, I'm getting a dog! So I'd really like a month to just sort of dedicate to her.

And 2.) as I also mentioned on my Instagram, my health problems are... progressing? It's something I've mentioned is difficult to talk about, but I don't feel so bad mentioning it here since there is a much smaller audience reading.
Basically, I most-likely have nerve damage and I'm having extreme balance issues + sensory issues in my left hand/arm/neck. So pins and needles, burning, all that fun stuff (on top of everything else I already experience). I'm really really really just thanking God right now it's not my right hand (my drawing hand)... knock on wood.
Anyway... well, it's a pretty heavy issue obviously, and me and my family are doing everything we can to get medical treatment. It's difficult in Canada so, we have some appointments set up for international clinics at the end of the month.

I suppose that might be part of the reason I want to get a dog. Some sort of last attempt to regain responsibility and control in my life or something. You know? Anyway. I don't mean to use this place as an outlet too much. So apologies. :,)

I mentioned sometime last month I'd like to make a Discord server, that's still definitely on my to-do list. I think I just wanted to come forward with my health issues first, starting slowly (like here), because I wouldn't be able to be myself in a Discord server if I couldn't be 100% honest with you guys!

I love you guys, I'm actually going to be a bit bummed taking a break in May, but I'll still be active in general. I just want to especially make sure I don't have any crazy deadlines while my dog is around.
