You know, I don't think I've ever really shown this "middle bit" of my postwork process. ^^ Everything's still rough - I've been making slow progress, and trying to get things Just Right™ - but here I'm doodling where I'd like to paint in some of the saliva, with a small amount detailed towards the front of the mouth.

I usually paint it all in as a white silhouette, then add the colors in later! It's not the most intuitive method, but it leaves me with the most flexibility afterwards to tweak and fix as I go.

The month is closing up on me faster than I'd hoped, but I should get this done before the end at the least! I have a few more projects planned as well, and I'll try to make another post before the month is through to give a bit of an idea of what those might be.
