first 2017 update! (Patreon)

I have a lot of plans and hopes for this year, though I must admit it's been starting off slower than I'd hoped. Still, I'd like to share a bit of an update with you on where I am in my work and what I have planned, so you all have a better idea of what to expect!

First things first, I'm pushing to get a few commissions finished up right now. I'd actually hoped to get them all done before this year, but it turned out to be way too optimistic on my part. You've already seen one of them though (the first part of it at least), and I'm partway done on another; there's five in total, and fingers crossed I can finish them in a relatively timely manner.

I want to really step up my activity level in general as well, which will probably come in the form of some smaller projects I can squeeze in-between the larger ones. Ultimately, I'd like to be doing projects for Patreon once a month, possibly at a bit of a smaller scale and with a lower funding goal to make up for it. I'm getting about $40 a month currently - a bit less at the moment, I think, but still close - which is just about the low end of my commission prices, so quickie projects should fit into that! As pledges grow, I can start aiming bigger on those. From the looks of it, Patreon just added a "polls" feature as well, so that should be really handy for this stuff!

Regardless of funding, I need to be more active. I've stagnated a bit lately and that certainly doesn't help me to gain support in any capacity. This is part of why I'm rushing to get those commissions finished, it'll give me a decent chunk of money to set aside, and clear things up for me to try and belt out a few personal projects I can start posting. Some smaller ideas right now include a scene with Lily (someone requested her earlier, I believe? And I have a snippet of a story I'd love to illustrate), some more food+vore images, and a couple small fun pieces, maybe some more "licking the screen" stuff like I've done before. Lots of characters to use for those, still!

How has 2017 been treating you all so far? Does anyone have suggestions or requests they'd like to see from me this year? I'm all ears!
