Issa design wip2 (Patreon)

While I'm finishing up that Halloween picture (should be getting it done by tonight/tomorrow!), I've also been working on that new character, Issa. Most specifically, mouth stuff! :D

Sorta-kinda pointy teeth for a change, perhaps? I don't want to go all-out with sharp teeth just yet, but Issa is a little more unique already, so some subtle details can't hurt.

As I mentioned earlier (in the October update), she's a character that has "existed" for a while already in Paeratopa canon, alongside another named Vela. For the moment I'm only working on Issa's design, but I might try and catch Vela up before I finish, just so they can both be done together; I think that would be a nice touch, I generally give my characters birthdays based on when I finish their profile images, and having the two of them share a birthday would go just perfectly with the dynamic I'm imagining with them, sort of contrasting twins!
