Hello, hello! Let's jump right into this one.

I've been having a lot of ups and downs for a while now, trying to figure out exactly what I'm trying to achieve with... well, everything. It's tricky, trying to make a business of creative work, that odd juxtaposition of "you can't force it" and "well actually, that's your job". I haven't been handling it all that well, but it's a learning experience.

The conclusion I've come to right now is simply that I need to relax myself a little. So with that in mind, I'm aiming to make a few priority changes, as well as some changes to my Patreon structure.

First off, this Patreon has been functioning mostly as a tip jar for a while now, since I never could quite build it up enough to hit those monthly milestones (I think it hit the first goal for like... a month or two late last year). Rather than struggling to push for those (somewhat outdated) milestone goals, I'd like now to just do away with most of them and let this continue to be a tip jar with benefits; WIPs and occasional project theme voting for everyone, and high-res works in the higher reward tier.

On more of a personal priority shift, I'd like to allow myself to work on multiple projects at once, just at a more relaxed pace. Similarly to how Karbo handles his own; it's common to see WIPs on his Patreon for multiple ongoing projects all at once, and this doesn't seem to slow him down at all.
Granted, I'm not Karbo. But I can see the benefits of being able to work on whichever project I'm in the mood for at that time, rather than trying to force them to all be done in a specific order.

Ultimately, the reason I made a Patreon was so that I could make use of the funding to work on more personal projects without feeling guilty about not investing that time into commissions. (I'm also hoping to slowly ease back into those soon as well, but I'll touch on that later.) That goal has remained the same, for the most part, it's just my perspective on it got a little twisted up and I'd like to untwist it.

TL;DR-slash-summary:

- Removing some of the old, pointless milestone goals and such
- Allowing myself to work on multiple projects at once; patrons will continue to see WIPs posted here, there just might be more of them and some may take longer than others
- Hoping to be finishing projects more frequently as a result; I'll probably stop labeling certain projects as "monthly projects" and just aim to finish at least one project a month
- Reward tiers unchanged, may make a few more posts public, and I'd like to have more involvement opportunities with polls and the like.

I hope that's not all too confusing to read through. Basically I'm hoping that if I stop stressing about getting exactly one specific project done per month, I can just work on whatever I'm in the mood for and speed up my workflow as a result.

One last note on commissions! I'd like to start easing back into those, soon. Not opening them up fully just yet, but trying to work through some of the folks who have been waiting for a while, and maybe cherry-picking a few here and there that I think I'd enjoy working on. I've gone for a few months now without much of a steady income and there are still a lot of things I'd like to be able to afford (like a new laptop, seeing as my current one has been on its last legs for far too long).

Thank you all for reading! You probably won't notice much change, to be honest, but hopefully you start seeing more posts from me overall. I've got a lot of ideas I'd like to create from and this might just help me to get some progress done on more of those. ^^
