Update - March 2018 (Patreon)

Ah, it's March! Time to start working on this month's projects, already.

As a small disclaimer, I was without power for most of the day just last week due to some heavier weather, and today is supposed to get a little harsh as well. It doesn't look like it'll be nearly as bad now as it was those few days ago, but a portion of my time is still getting taken up by prepping in case it does get worse! I don't like to do any computer work when there's a threat of having the power shut out halfway through, so I'm focusing today primarily on concepts and planning instead.

On that note, however! I've got a couple of small-ish ideas I think I'd like to work on, though none are 100% certain yet. I'll share a few here for the moment, so you can have some idea of what to expect, and if I'm still undecided later on I'll likely throw up a poll to help pick out what to go with.

Jumping right into it, what you're seeing here is a very old picture of mine, from somewhere around 2010-2011 (I'm not even sure anymore). Well, it's been close to eight years, and I think I'd like to try my hand and re-making this one! Updated with new characters and all (Charlotte and Jasmine, perhaps), maybe some changes in posing and composition and angle... but keeping the same concept, still. I'm not entirely sure if that's what I want to tackle this month, but it's near the top of the list.

And what else? The other options are probably simple pieces, but no less fun to look at, or so I'd hope. A scene featuring my new-ish character Wendy has been on the to-do list for a while, and would probably involve her playing around with multiple prey and/or mashing her big ol' tongue against someone. That's not exactly a simple piece (especially if there's multiple prey), but it might not be too complex either.
Other, smaller concepts would be something involving lollipops or icecream, or another entry into the "squishy showoffs" set. I'm thinking... Umami with a lollipop or icecream, or Wanda with a screen-licking PoV? There's others on the waiting list for new art, but I haven't got anyone off the top of my head at the moment.

TL;DR: weather problems are getting in the way a little bit this month, but shouldn't be too much of a problem! My main project consideration is a re-do of an old, old picture (the one above), while the other ideas are for simpler projects using characters I haven't given as much attention to lately.

I hope the weather wherever you are has been treating you well, too! And life in general. I'm not thrilled at the possibility of another power outage from all this snow outside my window, but wow oh wow is it pretty. Sometimes you just need to enjoy what you can. ^^
