Plans - 2018 edition (Patreon)

Hello everyone! I hope life has been treating you well.

In all honesty, my plans for the year are still fuzzy at best, and I haven't even fully figured out what the plan is for this month. But I do have some plans, and I'd like to share a bit here with you today. ^^

Consistency
One thing that I'd like to keep a constant is at least one picture for every month, ideally more. I work slowly on a lot of things, but it's not an unachievable pace; I do have issues with letting my perfectionism drag me to a halt on these things, but I can do so much more if I try to keep things a little simpler.

Some smaller ideas I'd like to do this year:
- adding a few more POV-licking images to the "squishy showoff" series
- character design updates, with bigger, more detailed profile images to go with them
- more small, for-fun images, sort of the kink-equivalent of pinups (no backgrounds, just a focus on the character)

I also have bigger projects I want to tackle, but I think those need to be in a separate category this time around! If I can focus on doing at least one small thing a month, it takes off a lot of the pressure and lets me put more time into those bigger scenes as I like.

Other projects
In addition to those bigger scenes I want to do, there's also a lot of projects I want to tackle that aren't necessarily all images. Prop modeling is one thing, and you've probably already seen one of those in progress, the pizza slice model (on that note, I'll have another update on that shortly). There are other model updates I'd like to make too, as well as projects like character profiles, organizing...

The latter is especially big for me, I have a lot of characters at this point (something like 50-ish for just paerans, and a few more beyond that in side characters). I'd really love to be able to just ask, "who do you want to see more of?" but the problem there is, how can I ask for opinions on characters I've barely even showed you all yet? I really need to just put up a good list somewhere.

Catchup and commissions
This is the last, and possibly the most important, thing to deal with. I have multiple commissions I've committed to that simply haven't made any progress over the past few months, ever since depression has been dragging me down. I want to start clearing those off my plate, finishing up all that I can; commissions, the crowdfund experiment from not-so-recently-anymore, and a few other bits and bobs floating around and making future plans complicated.

It's not until all that's done that I think I'll really be able to take on new commissions. At the moment, Patreon is my primary source of income, and while it's nice to have a bit of steady money coming in, it's not much. I need to be able to pick up again on commissions if I want to go anywhere. That's a pretty big deal.

There's still more I'd like to share - I want to write, I want to draw and paint - but I'll get to those subjects when the time is better for them!

One more thing I want to work on is just communicating more frequently with patrons and followers. Hopefully here that will mean more posts of WIPs and project ideas; elsewhere, more frequent uploads and maybe some other types of interaction. I want to engage way more, and I hope I can slowly move towards that as this year goes on. ^^
