I will be closing the FLOATING tier. That's from where all the genshin ports and many of the Star Rail ports come from.

Below you can read the extended explanation. But yeah. I won't work on Genshin Impact unless it's commissioned. THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU WON'T GET MORE GENSHIN/STAR RAIL PORTS. IT JUST MEANS MAYBE THERE WILL BE LESS.

  • RisingAlyx won't stop working on Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail ports.

  • RisingAlyx ports from many games and has done this ever since he started, and he will continue doing this as long as he ports from games.

  • Genshin Impact will only be ported under commissions. All future models from now on from this game released in this patreon will be either commissioned or done because RisingAlyx wanted to port the model.

  • If you don't like this, please stop supporting me. Ports from games like AFK Journey will be here to stay, until I lose interest and move on to the next game.

If you wish to understand why I'm making this announcement, below I'll be overexplaining and ranting about it for complete paragraphs. I hope it will be the last complain you'll have to endure. I know it's not nice to read them, and I'm sorry about it. I will stop that in this post.

I'm so sorry you've been exposed to my negativity over the past few weeks. I know you are paying and no one is forcing you to support me. I know you trust on the work I do and you want to have your favourite character with a face rig and ready to pose on XPS, but I just can't take it anymore. I'm so tired. I'm really honored to have so many patrons. I swear I didn't expect as many people as I have, but many of you came just because you wanted Mihoyo ports, and I don't think I can take it anymore.

I will keep the floating tier closed until I can finish the last floating port I owe to my two patrons, who have been the sweetest, most patient and loyal people a creator could ask for. One of them literally hasn't talked to me in ages and he just keeps on paying the tier (I have reached to him many times by the way, answer me please 😭😭😭). Thank you for trusting me and I'm sorry I haven't been able to keep up.

I'll be closing the tier once I have talked to the three patrons currently on that tier, but I have already put on a limit and no one can join the tier anymore.

Hello, everyone.

I don't know what or why suddenly I felt I had the strenght to do this, but yeah, it's finally time to adress the issues.

I am tired.

I am mentally exhausted, and I've been struggling for this whole year about it.

As you know, my computer broke and my current computer that I purchased back then came defective. So I was completely gone for two months. I paused all billing and promised to the FLOATING patrons that I would send the rest of the ports I owed them over the following months.

But here we are. Owing seven ports. All of them hoyoverse games.

To be honest, I feel really guilty about the situation. So I will be complaining about it for the last time, and I hope after I publish this post, I will avoid speaking about this for as long as I stay here.

I don't want to work on Genshin Impact anymore.

Porting from these games takes all of my time. There are so many games I would like to port from but here we are. I could be porting Blue Reflection models, but I have to port the same boring waifus over and over and over and over and over and over again, and that's all you expect from me 💀💀💀

Back then on 2016, I became a porter. My first port was one of Hayate's costumes for DOA5 LR, because I was tired of not having the models I wanted. I decided that I wanted to take action. Since then, I have worked on lots of games. I have ported from DOA5, 4, 2 and the Xtreme spin off. I have worked on Final Fantasy models. Fatal Frame, Fate, Fire Emblem, Smash, Tekken, and many other games. My point being: I work on many things at the same time. I did it as AliSRocks, I did it as shreis and RisingAlyx, and I will keep doing that now. Because that's how I like it.

And yes, I'm shreis. That's the username I used back then because... it's actually a really dumb story, but yep. I was shreis. All of those ports were done by me. Go and check them out. Notice how many games I worked there. Notice that I never sticked to a single game. I was always bouncing between different games.

So I was expecting to do the same on my Patreon. But I guess it's not the case.

I'm sorry but I need you to understand this:

I'm not a Genshin Impact porter.

I'm not a Star Rail porter.

I will NOT be a Zenless Zone Zero porter. I would like to port Billy, but aside of him, I'm not interested in the slightlest to work on anyone else.

Which is why I'll be announcing:

I will be closing the FLOATING tier.

My mental health has been hanging from a single thread, and over the months, I have been feeling worse and worse. You can notice this on every post. Hell, look at Phraesto's release. I can't keep this negativity to myself anymore. I'm frustrated and depressed. I have poured countless hours of work onto many models but you all seem to care only about the damned mihoyo models. I am so tired of all my hard work being ignored. I don't wanna work on Mihoyo models unless I want or I'm commissioned.

And all of the Genshin and Star Rail ports come from the Floating tier.

This is the other reason why I'm closing this tier.

Now, I need you to understand something. Once again:

  • RisingAlyx won't stop working on Genshin Impact or Honkai Star Rail ports.

  • RisingAlyx ports from many games and has done this ever since he started, and he will continue doing this as long as he ports from games.

  • Genshin Impact will only be ported under commissions. All future models from now on from this game released in this patreon will be either commissioned or done because RisingAlyx wanted to port the model.

  • If you don't like this, please stop supporting me. Ports from games like AFK Journey will be here to stay, until I lose interest and move on to the next game.

The amount of work on these models is way too heavy, and I can't do more than two per month because of that. It's currently extremely overwhelming to port from those games due to all of these reasons. I'm depressed and I'm going through a burnout. It takes me entire days just to start working on them because I can't find the strenght to start working. I swear I'm trying my hardest, but I'm getting depressed over this. And it's not like people ask for characters I even like. No one asks me for Benny, Misha, Gepie, etc. At least you could have some good taste and ask me to port Ningguang and Kokomi, because they weren't commissioned. I literally ported them because I wanted to have them 💀💀💀💀

I know you are not to blame, you are paying. This is your money and you expect to receive what you pay for, but I need you to understand.

I have never worked for so long on a game. Go and check. Check shreis and RisingAlyx pre Genshin. I don't stay for too long on a single game. If I have ported from Genshin for this long is because it keeps getting commissions and because the floating patrons keep asking for those. But I have reached my limit.

I will keep working on these models, but please, don't expect them to be often done. I suffered and procrastinated the hell out of Navia and Clorinde. I had never struggled so much to do a port in my life. I HAVEN'T EVEN DONE COMMISSIONS OFFICIALLY IN MONTHS.

So yeah, I invite you to please leave my patreon if all you want is hoyoverse ports, because with this decision, I will be finally stop porting so often from those games. I'll have time to rest a bit more and have less pressure over my shoulders, and I will be able to stop complaining and pouring so much negativity you don't deserve to read on every post.

I don't know how to finish this, but I want to thank you again for all of the support and patience you've had with me over the past few months. I will try my hardest to make it up to you. Now without the floating tier, I'll be able to relax a bit more, and I hope that reflects on my ports and the frequency .w.

Thank you for everything 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
