Patreon important transformation! (Patreon)

Regarding recent events... Patreon has implemented a new requirement stating that creators of R18 content need to undergo identity verification to prove they are at least 18 years old. This is actually a demand from the credit card companies behind Patreon. Currently, I am not inclined to submit my personal identification documents. However, without verification, it seems that I won't be able to withdraw funds from this platform. Therefore, starting from July 2023, I will temporarily transition this Patreon to focus on general content (Safe for All Audiences), as general content does not require identity verification.

The general content will still revolve around drawing male anime characters, specifically muscular males, like underwear models or fitness model shots. The key point is that there won't be any explicit depiction of genitalia. You might think is like a site for muscle anatomy. For now, my plan is to produce two individual artworks per month.

As for the sponsorship tiers, I will maintain the prices at $5 and $7. However, both tiers will receive the same rewards. It's entirely up to you whether you want to support me at a lower price or if you are financially able and don't mind the additional $2. I will keep the completed artworks in the Patreon gallery without removing them.

Regarding the possibility of other platforms, even before this verification issue arose, I had considered trying out Pixiv Fanbox. However, I found that Fanbox might not be suitable for the early bird 7usd pre-order and delivery model I have on Patreon. I have been struggling with finding a way to synchronize Fanbox and Patreon. Moreover, I have gradually realized that the pre-order and delivery model, which requires a $7 upfront payment, is becoming less suitable for me. When I was contemplating how to make changes, this verification issue came up, pushing me to make necessary adjustments. Subscribestar is a platform many people have recommended I move to after this incident, and I will explore it as well. However, since I still have four term packages to complete delivery on, I plan to fulfill those before considering a new R18 platform.

However, I still have Gumroad. After completing the artwork packages, I can also offer them on Gumroad. So, losing Patreon only means the absence of the $7 early bird pre-order discount. In retrospect, perhaps the impact isn't that significant.

As for the matter of past term rewards for the $10 tier on Patreon... this is currently a bit complicated. I am not sure if sharing the link through private messages is permissible. For now, I will try to retain the $10 tier functionality in the upcoming July and see how it goes, but I believe it would be better for everyone to visit Gumroad.

I currently owe the following term packages: T59, T60, T61, T62. My Patreon won't disappear; it is simply undergoing transformation. Therefore, the billing information will remain intact, and I will notify you accordingly based on your reserved month when the artworks are completed. I will also keep a record of your email addresses, just in case.

Lastly, a few reminders. Moving forward, this Patreon will continue to undergo reforms and enter a new experimental stage. The sponsorship prices or content may change continuously. If you are concerned about not receiving what you expected or feel unsatisfied, I suggest you refrain from sponsoring me during this period. Alternatively, you can choose to support with the minimum $1 to stay informed about the development of this Patreon. You can also follow my updates on Pixiv and Twitter. After entering July, the R18 content on this Patreon will be removed, so if you wish to download any packages, please do so promptly!
