Well folks, the Part 3 audios really took it out of me haha. I won't be able to do the NSFW part yet, I have my last day at home tomorrow and the NSFW audio will take longer than a day (YES IT'S THAT LONG). I'm beyond apologetic for it, I feel terrible about it and super guilty for having talked about it so much. I hope to get it done immediately when I get home.

If you're curious about some behind the scenes on how I create scripts and audios, here you go! (this is a long rant)

When I start a script it's always from an idea or even just a sentence I want to use. I craft a very bare bones narrative, some dot points and small things I want to use to dictate emotion and story.

The Manor started as one audio, the first one. It would be a short intro in the dungeon, a longer middle at The Manor and then the end would be night time with Puppy and Sir wanting to get on with Neko.

The scale exploded if you couldn't tell haha. It's a bad habit of mine, but I also enjoy bringing a world to life.

So I made the plan for first two audios pretty fast and turned them into scripts just as quickly. Due to less time constraint I was able to proof read and check everything I wanted to. The quality of writing and performance is naturally higher in the first two.

Then we get to the third one. Now I am naturally going to be my own worst critic, but I have to listen to myself for hours while editing so I think I'm allowed to be. This one isn't anywhere near as concise, refined or of quality.

I did not have the time to proof read or check the script, I only had time to record it and work on it afterwards. That means I was doing all the script editing while recording it.

I recorded the M4F first, I don't pick which I do first. I just use whichever pronoun comes to mind and roll with it, it swaps all the time. I do seperate entire recordings for both, I don't swap pronouns out and call it a day.

The recording time for that audio was an hour, 56:37 to be exact. The audio was cut down to 26 minutes. I had to adjust a lot on the go and adapt a lot of what I had. One thing you'll find if you look for it, is that I don't use words twice. Not close to each other at least.

I often avoid it as it irks me and I heavily dislike it. I found plenty of spots in the script where it occurs, and I wasn't able to notice till I was editing. There is no changing it at that point.

Now if you've listened to the M4F and you listen to the M4M, you will notice a much higher quality audio. And I hate that. I hold so much disdain for quality shifts when they're meant to be the same BUT separate audios.

I had more knowledge of what I wanted to change when I recorded, I remembered from the previous session, I knew how to deliver lines and most importantly I had more experience with both characters.

Maybe I'm the only one that can tell, if so that's the best case scenario. I don't like having a paid service where I don't feel the quality is up to par.

Well that's all I really had to say, I'm not terribly upset or angry. I'm just disappointed in myself for promising too much and not being able to deliver.
