On this month's special edition of The Nexus, we're chatting about the totally great and completely underrated Star Trek III: The Search for Spock

Is there any question that this is the best movie Leonard Nimoy ever directed? How great is Christopher Lloyd, also serving as the villain on this month's Animation Damnation btw, playing the dastardly Klingon, Kruge? How frequently is Dr. McCoy going back to that sleazy bar? Why couldn't we get more Uhura in this one? And how many times does Andrew reference having read the (totally awesome!) novel, "Sarek"?

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support our family of shows—we couldn't do it without you! We know you have lots of options for podz and we're super-stoked you chose to spend some time with us—thanks again!

I'm gunna put Andrew's dates on my car. When people ask, "oh was that a friend of yours? I'm sorry for your loss," I'll say, "I knew next to nothing about him except that he mocked the scene of Giovanni Ribisi dying in Saving Private Ryan when he was a kid. I gave him $8/month and listened to him talk for thousands of hours." I think it'll spark some interesting conversation.

I watched five minutes of that night court reboot and turned it off.

In ALL the TJ Hooker references you guys were making, hoe did you forgot about Michael Rapaport's character in True Romance auditioning for a TJ-H reboot? And Clarence Worley asking him if he got to "meet Captain Kirk?"

Rhea

I'm glad you guys acknowledge Kirk's bisexuality.
