On this month's edition of The Nexus, the gang watches an obnoxious episode of TOS, "Mudd's Women;" originally airing October 13th, 1966, the episode features the first incarnation of Harry Mudd—we know  Rainn Wilson was just cast as Mudd in Discovery; we recorded this episode the day before the casting announcement was made so it's not mentioned here—who is one of the absolute worst characters in Trek history. It also features a horny Bones, Kirk playing Space Cop, and some serious space drunk driving!

Then, over on TNG, we're up to the famous episode, "Justice," where everyone is screwing and kissing until the sun comes up—all while Wesley gets sentenced to death! Originally airing November 7th, 1987, the episode asks such daring questions as: how bad can Dr. Crusher's dialogue get? What's with that soap bubble on Data's head? And how much does Wesley know about sexual activity? PLUS: Eric reads some dirty, filthy slash fiction!

The Nexus is a We Hate Movies podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time; cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

The slash makes me laugh till I cry. I'm immature. Two awesomely terrible ST episodes. Perfect.

I am officially addicted to the uncomfortable hilarity of the slash segments. Eric's the perfect orator complimented with Stephen's squirmy protests.

During the slash reading I laughed and wheezed to hard I actually felt dizzy and had tunnel vision. Please don't stop, Eric

I listened to this in the gym. Halfway through the slash-fiction section, my phone fell onto to the treadmill and shot across the gym. I can only assume it was trying to escape what it was being forced to play.

*ahem* You've made two critical errors in this episode. 1) Riker is from Alaska, not Montana. 2) Geordi is on the initial away team to the planet, and he actually makes the comment about how they make love at the drop of a hat so it's strongly implied that he had sex while there. Please try to avoid mistakes like this in the future. - Sincerely, Paul W. Reddit
