On this spooktacular commentary track, the guys are talking over the film that got the ball rolling on one of the biggest franchises in horror history, Friday the 13th (1980)!
On the track, they are screening the UNCUT version, so make sure if you're watching along that you've got the right cut playing! This way you get to watch all the wild stuff the guys did, like Kevin Bacon's gorier Tom Savini-designed death sequence, a bunch of horrible folk music being sung, a rousing game of Strip Monopoly, Native American cultural appropriation, a righteous decapitation, "Crazy" Ralph, and the entire fabulous sequence where Kevin Bacon is in that banana hammock! PLUS: Couldn't someone have turned on a single light on set?
Friday the 13th (1980) stars Adrienne King, Jeannine Taylor, Rabbi Morgan, Kevin Bacon, Harry Crosby, Laurie Bartram, Mark Nelson, Peter Brouwer, Walt Gorney, and Betsy Palmer as Mrs. Voorhees; directed by Sean S. Cunningham.
And if anyone needs to re-sync their watch-a-long, remember that we're watching the uncut version of the film and the commentary itself starts on this audio track at the 06:20 mark, synced up to 00:00:05 of the film's timecode.
