After listening to this episode I was in the mood for the movie. Luckily it was on prive video. I did notice a goof that wasn't on the imdb triva though. The bit where bentinck finds out about the ticket and puts his hand through the wall, just before he took the glass eye out but while he's looking at his hand through the wall you see the actors actual eye. Not a big goof but made me giggle.

I've really never understood the negativity this film gets. Even as a 12 year old I knew what it was doing and I was happy to go along for the ride. Like Starship Troopers, is it a case that American film critics don't understand satire?

Awesome episode. I laughed at the Robert Duvall movie Stalin reference. They should do that movie. And the Stiff Upper Lip riff. Oh man, they did that song on MTV during the TRL days, man that was odd. This movie is better than we remember it to be. And I agree that the kid is terrible. Everything else is interesting.

It's crazy you guys brought up the man who slashed all those people at moma. I used to work with him. He got fired for doing something really insane but not violent. I guess over time His behavior escalated. Prior to this incident he was let go from every job in our industry.

Tom Cruise! Tom Cruise is the last action star of the golden age of Hollywood. Not Vin 😅 I mean you could even argue for The Rock since he could also open a movie with his name alone.
