On this episode of The Podcast of Boba Fett, the guys are chit-chatting about the latest getting-their-ducks-in-a-row, table-setting episode, "The Gathering Storm." Written by the Favs and directed by Kevin Tancharoen, this episode has Boba Fett creating more jobs in Mos Espa, a pretty sweet Wookiee-started bar brawl, and Fennec Shand getting some robot guts installed! PLUS: Joe Biden, useless Tatooine president!

The Podcast of Boba Fett is the latest WHM TV recap show where the guys chat about each and every episode of The Book of Boba Fett. Thanks so much for your continued, TOP. TIER. Patreon support. This one's for you!

I'm coming to the realization that this series is just the Boba Fett movie that never got made, and they puffed out the script a bit to make into a series after Mando took off.

Better episode, relatively speaking. Oh, and guess who did NOT direct this episode—Robert Rodriguez. I don’t understand why the WHM guys always seem to give Robert Rodriguez a pass. I get it. I’m a person of color, and I appreciate more POC directing, but I will say that Robert Rodriguez is a cheesy director—always has, always will.

Erik Hecht

+1 for Boba Friend

Paul

Not gonna lie, those scenes of Fennec lying down and being carried by Bobba—kinda hot, kinda hot.

Kevin Lynch

A couple takeaways: “But, Black Boba Fett, I sell drugs in the community’ that gleep glop needed a pimp hat and cane. I’m hoping against hope that there’s a scene in which Boba’s and Jennifer Beals’ baby is christened in a Life Day ceremony while the crime lords are eliminated; bonus points if it’s still Sofia Coppola

Cabin's Biden is veering awfully close to M. Emmet Walsh.

Paul

I’m wishing for the Obi Wan series to take place mainly on Coruscant, giving it a gritty “Streets of a Coruscant” or even a “Glimmer Man” sort of feel.

Paul

One more thing and I’ll shut up: The Biden-Bobba Fett comparison is so fitting. Like Biden, Bobba gets rid of one bad guy in the beginning, and pretty much does nothing after that.

Tristan

Great Ep! "You better start believing in buddy friend stories, because you're in one!"

Lono's Oboe

I might be way off on this, but I get the sense that maybe he was in the pit for like 4 years considering the pit slowly digests you. And that people are kept alive by it somehow. Him being trapped in the stomach for 4 years would be pretty rad and explain why he is acting like he drank a bottle of cough syrup the night before.

Andrew Burt

Boba? Boba's dead, my friend. You can call me... Buddy. And as you can see, I'm a lot friendlier.

Tri Force Tony

Other gangs: "What if we don't wanna join up with you?" BOBA: "Well we can shake hands and be best friends" I'm fucking dead 🤣💀
