On this month's journey into The Nexus, the guys are chatting about two more solid eps of Trek!

First up on TOS, it's the season two finale, and embarrassingly obvious backdoor pilot, "Assignment: Earth"! Originally airing March 29, 1968, this episode left us wondering if an actual Gary Seven show have even been watchable? How great is it whenever the Enterprise crew travels back in time? And what was going on between Gary Seven and that cat?

Then, up next on TNG, it's the sexy, Troi-centric episode, "The Price"! Originally airing November 11, 1989, this episode has Troi falling head over heels for Lloyd Braun himself, Matt McCoy; a bunch of alien races trying to buy access to a wormhole; and a whole lot of... space aerobics?

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing we do—we couldn't do it without you!

Perfect timing, I needed this!

The whole Seven thing reminded me so much of early doctor who. I think they may have found some inspiration there. Doctor who started in 63

Lol. Just started the episode, and Chris mentioned the small town I live in.

Why does Jessica hook up with Roger Rabbit? I can’t criticize a product I pay for? I didn’t know ass kissing was a policy.

One of my favorite experiences from this podcast is when I've never seen the TOS episode and get to hear the guys retell it. The insanity of this backdoor pilot as a season finale absolutely destroyed me.

Criticize away Stalin, you just seem a little unhappy so I thought I'd ask. What you do with asses or mouths is none of my business. Roger Rabbit is funny, charming and judging by foot size probably pretty hung. Hope that clears things up for you. Have a great day :)

End of season 2. That means Spock’s Brain is next 🤩

Happy Birthtime!

I bet it was Tom Savini chucking that cat through the window
