On this month's trip back to the 1990s, Chelsea Jupin joins the gang to chat about two super solid eps of our SoCal stories!

First up, on Beverly Hills, 90210, it's the landmark episode, "Wildfire"! Originally airing September 12, 1991, this one gets the kids back to school and introduces major new character, Emily Valentine, while Scott comes back from Oklahoma (clock's tickin', Scott!), and Dylan and Brenda get back together!

Then, up the road on Melrose Place, it's the super-sexy episode, "Pushing Boundaries"! First hitting the airwaves back on April 7, 1993, this episode has Billy getting sexually harassed at work, Alison deservedly eating more shit from Amanda at D&D, and Michael taking the first step toward completely throwing his life in the garbage!

MELR0210 is a WHM podcast where the guys blissfully stroll through the Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place timelines. The TV episodes covered will run in broadcast order, but the gang may skip duller 'sodes in order to keep the focus on the nitty, the gritty, and the downright bizarre. Thanks so much for continuing to support the WHM Patreon!

"Addicted to Love" is odd to play on school radio? My school played Juvenile's "Back That Ass Up" at a pep rally. God bless American public schools.

Let's remember that Brenda learned to shame girls about sex from the best JIM lol

Am I loosing it? I can’t find the “Wildfire” episode

Ray

It's great that the wildfire episode isn't on streaming because of the song addicted to Love when on the DVD version they just replace it with some generic back to school song.

Ray

It's on the dark web. Or order the dvd

Do not dangle that beautiful carrot of a commentary episode of scotts shooting himself if you don't follow through with it. Please! I will turn into mean Brenda 😅

Emily Rosen

It's on Daily Motion in Spanish, I cant find it in English

Ray

I found it. But Patreon won't let me post a link for y'all

I’ve been watching a lot of Succession as of late, and hear the best parts of Holly Hunter’s voice in the lovely Chelsea Jupin’s. (This is to clearly differentiate between the Gary Busey Holly Hunter the guys do)

Angel

I agree! We need another Melr0210 commentary. I really liked the one they did for Melrose Place.

Re: Doing a Commentary of that Scott finale episode - I loved the Melrose Place one you did last year. I'd support any commentary you bring out, honestly. Also, thank you to Andrew for coining the phrase "Koosh Crazy".

I was one of those teenagers who built too much of their personality around liking the "right" kind of music, and I used to write parody songs for my friends. I'm still a little proud of the snark in a couple of them, but thinking of them usually just makes me cringe for 3 or 4 different reasons.

I ENJOYED IT!
