It's our monthly trip through Star Trek lore as we hop back into The Nexus!

First up on TOS, it's another "What if Earth actually became an X-type planet?" episode with "Bread and Circuses"! Originally airing March 15, 1968, this episode features another Starfleet washout breaking bad (who Kirk is of course friends with), a televised gladiator fight to the death complete with a fake studio audience, and Uhura finally getting to outsmart Kirk and Spock!

Then over on TNG, it's a Geordi and Worf-centric episode with, "The Enemy"! First airing back on November 4, 1989, this episode has Geordi falling in a hole, Wesley annoyingly figuring out how to save the day with a probe, and Worf not giving a flying shit if this Romulan dies on the table!

The Nexus is a WHM podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing we do—we couldn't do it without you!

Hey so what was up with that comment about President Xi?

They're mad at Spock for interfering in the bones fight because "a man must fight his own battles" is what the prowtf says to Kirk when he asks about the rules. And the guy fighting bones is flavor-flavius.

I had many redirects, but I'm dead off Catman. Very dead

Re: horror video games, check out Alien: Isolation. Excellent Alien interpretation, you can get it for less than $10 on Steam and the major consoles

Every time I leave a comment, I always feel like I'm "that guy," but in fact there is one (ONE?!) other instance of somebody wearing a visor, and it's a background character that appears in Star Trek: Lower Decks. Also in Lower Decks, Boimler gives a teddy bear to his girlfriend and I think the teddy bear also had a visor!

It's the fourth if you include a piece of the action

Oh man, next Nexus there's Lloyd Braun!
