When a tragedy occurs in the real world, 9/11, school shooting, widespread inhumane treatment of a group of people, etc, at what point is it acceptable for that event to be referenced or used in a fictional storyline as either a plot point or source for character development? Are there any movies/TV that you feel are a better substitute for something else? For example, I feel Elisabeth Moss in Top Of The Lake is a better "Clarice Starling" than the actual Clarice series. Hope I explained this right, love this podcast!-Brian from Seattle
