Animation Damnation - "The New Adventures of Gumby" (Patreon)

On this month's Animation Damnation, the gang gets clay-mated as they tackle a late-80's continuation of the wildly popular Gumby franchise with an episode on The New Adventures of Gumby!

Packaged this way at least for Amazon streaming in the US, this particular episode cobbles together two shorts: "The Music Ball," which originally aired January 2nd, 1988, and "The Elephant and the Dragon," which first got eyes on it February 6th, 1988. 

The two shorts feature insane elements like Gumby being in a band playing prog rock, a screaming chicken, an elephant that sounds like Fred Flintstone, and the horrendously designed character of Goo! PLUS: Pokey, voiced by Nick Nolte, participates in... what's that say? Tijuana donkey shows?
