Step into that magical ribbon with us once again, loyal Patreon subscriber, as the gang drops the 35th (!!!) episode of the bluest Star Trek podcast in the Alpha Quadrant, The Nexus!

First, over on TOS, it's the outrageous episode, "Who Mourns for Adonais?" Originally airing September 22nd, 1967, this episode features some legendarily cheap sets, Scotty uncomfortably asking out co-workers, and Uhura rewiring a control board!

Then, over on TNG, the gang is talking "The Schizoid Man," which originally aired January 21st, 1989, this somewhat forgettable episode features Data wearing a Riker beard, an away team doing a super-dangerous tuck-and-roll beam trick, and Picard interrupting a bad eulogy!

PLUS: Kirk leaves Yelp reviews for planets!

The Nexus is a We Hate Movies podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time. Thank you so much for continuing to support this weird thing!

McCoy: How much does Farty make?? Hold on, how much does Farty make?

Dr Graves' actor is great in STAR TREK 6, he plays a Klingon prison guard in that ice planet

Guys, get on COUNTERPART, it's genuinely one of the best shows of last couple of years. Criminally underseen, it's now cancelled, but the two series they did form a very complete story.

You're closer than you think when you say Chekhov was in a Monkees cover band - The studio had him wear a Davy Jones wig to reel those thirsty teen girls into Star Trek's demographic.

Love it. What I really wanted to comment on was the close of the F&F episode in which you guys mention it's the end of the 9th season. I would really appreciate the hell out of you guys retroactively naming your seasons, a la F&F. WHM Season 2: Probably Secundus, Hate 9: More Fat, More Furious, etc, etc

I agree with Steve, I think it was, that Scotty is more fuckable in The Motion Picture than he was in the show
