On this month's Animation Damnation, the gang is chatting about the weird, silly and cheap George Lucas product, Star Wars: Droids! The episode in question, "A Race to the Finish," originally aired September 28th, 1985, and features such elements as: a rockin' theme song, rubbery robot animation, blinking robots, a gross band of pirates, and more! PLUS: George Lucas does The Caddyshack Cannonball!

I don’t know if you guys have your holiday animation damnation planned, but have you thought about doing the forgotten Rankin Bass Christmas Carol adaptation, The Stingiest Man in Town? It has Walter Matthau (dead serious) as Scrooge, Tom Bosley as a narrating “humbug,” and no one attempting British accents.

hey, this is apropos of nothing but have yall ever watched the tv special flintstones episode, "flintstones on the rocks"? fred is extremely racist and hostile against mexicans in that one, its fucked up

Smaug

I don't understand some of the animation choices here, like around the 4:55 mark where C3PO is squatting on the back of the speeder. Why are we seeing him from the back and why does he look like he's taking a shit? Also what's up with his blue torso?

"Sydney Fett." Awesome. That is all.

As a Texan I'm hugely biased (and my dad is basically Hank Hill), but King of the Hill is a great show and you should all watch it.

Chris Cabin, C-3PO totally farts in the episode. He even pauses while he’s doing it and then resumes walking when he’s done. 💨
