On the first jump into the Ribbon of 2018, the gang is chatting about "The Galileo Seven" from TOS and "When the Bough Breaks" on TNG

First up on the original series, "The Galileo Seven," which originally aired January 5th, 1967, features Spock commanding his first away mission, Kirk delaying a weed delivery to sick people, weird giant people, and some hilariously fake-looking spears. PLUS: Bones bombs a eulogy in spectacular fashion!

Then over on TNG, the episode in question is, "When the Bough Breaks." Originally airing February 13th, 1988, the episode contains such classic Trek elements like Riker creepily obsessed with a mythical race of people, multiple kidnapped children, and, of course, god beings!! PLUS: It's open mic night in Ten Forward!

The Nexus is a We Hate Movies podcast where the guys futilely go through two Star Trek series at the same time; cover art by Felipe Sobreiro.

Bad news, John. It doesn't ever get much better. There are some great episodes but the rest of it is much easier to get through with a few tall glasses of water.
