Heya Flufferschnoots! It's Christmas time and I'm so pleased to gift you gentleman this pawsitive affurmations video.

I've been planning a follow up to the OG affirmations video for a couple months but something always seemed to get in the way. One of the reasons I wanted to produce more is so I could finally get to videos like this!

As such, I didn't plan to make this an "Egee Claus" thing. I kinda want to see what people think of the idea. Hopefully I'll be in a better place this time next year and I'll be able to commission an actual Egee Claus. And maybe I'll do some RPs with him!

Confession Time: I find these videos very boring to record 😅. I love producing them for you but for me, trying to say the same thing over & over while keeping it time-boxed to about 20 minutes is a slog.

However, coming up with new and different ways of delivering or performing the affirmations is really fun! The rhyme at the beginning was spontaneous but the terrible poetry wasn't (the disco ball metaphor ugh haha).

And lastly, the rain. That was actually a last second thing. I recorded it about a month ago when it was pouring and I've been wanting to make a b-side of it but it's not great by itself. As background noise for something like this though? Well, you tell me.

The video portion of these always trouble me. What do I put there? Everyone else always does some fancy effect; I feel lame just putting an Egee commish there and talking over it.. Why not a 3D graphics demo!

Some folks call 'em screen savers (I mean that's their intended purpose) but they are actually 3D demos and, depending on how you define it, games. Think of the programming required for something like the puzzle demo. Coding something like that is like a game to the developer!

There are tons of super cool screensavers for XServer on Linux. Expect to see LOTS more of them in the future!
