Hopefully the last pre-move update! (Patreon)

Hello you guys!

I'm finally in a state of mind where I can write a little bit again. It's been a terrible few weeks but things are finally getting back on track.

I got sick with strep throat like a month ago, followed by a nasty cold virus that apparently become bronchitis and pneumonia on top of it. I went to the doctor, got x-rays, tests, and my covid booster. I never had covid at any point so that's super good!

So last week, the buyers of our house requested completely ridiculous inspection concessions and threatened to walk away. We managed to compromise but it was a terribly stressful event that I am so glad is behind us now.

There's going to be a 1-5 day gap between selling our current house and moving into the next house. After that, we'll be able to move in and finally hit the reset-button on all of this!

Work has been historically super stressful this year but a couple things happened over the past couple months that have all but alleviated the issues I've been having. For the first time since 2018 (at Shiftwise), I finally feel like I'm an instrumental engineer at a company I actually like. It's been a long time coming but I'm finally there!

And finally, I've been thinking a lot about Egee, the character & the channel, and I'm super mega ultra excited for 2022. I've got a new outlook on things and a bunch of really great things planned. I think it's going to be an awesome year!
