Behind the Scenes: Amazon Luna & RE7 Review (Patreon)

I've not been this pleased about a video in a long time! Not that the others were bad, but because I think this one came out really well!

I had the idea of doing a Luna review for quite a while, as far as Egee videos go.

I honestly didn't think many people would be interested in it, especially since Linux isn't officially supported and Luna games run on Windows Servers in AWS.

I cut this from the script, but I really think cloud gaming and Luna (specifically) could be a legit "Console Killer".

An Amazon Fire Cube cost about $100 and coupled with Luna, you have basically all the same basic functionality as the latest and greatest $400+ game console. For a casual user like me, it is a phenomenal value!

While I was playing through Resident Evil, I didn't consider where I was saving until half way through the game. And I didn't want to replay the game just to capture some footage so the video used a lot of the same locations in the RE7 world.

I didn't realize how adult the game was until I started editing it. For a Luna review, maaaybe Resident Evil wasn't the best game to use as an example. 😂

I'm happy with the review though. I do really enjoy reviewing games so this was like a bonus to go along with the Luna review. Hopefully the chill music juxtaposed with the violent killing of zombies wasn't too jarring!

This review was very much a "one-off" video. If something comes along that interests me and also seems like it would be easy to produce a video of, I'll probably make do it. This is the direction I want to take the OG Egee channel.

EDIT: Ahh I forgot to mention - my daughter played during the footage of Overcooked 2! This makes her first "appearance" in an Egee video!
