A Follow Up Email! (Patreon)

From my previous post:

So when I saw an email from Packt, I assumed they were asking me to author a course on Panda3D or something.

Well...

When I agreed to do that Packt course on Qt years ago, it was a video course and I was expected to do literally everything. They provided a loose outline of topics and I basically had to fill in the rest.

This opportunity seems to be more like documentation but from the perspective of a book on or about Panda3D.

I'm a little bit mixed on this. On one hand, I think I am a much better writer than I am video producer. On the other hand, my Python skills are mediocre so having to write a bunch of stuff from scratch would be like a full-time job for me.

That being said, if I was compensated as if it was a full-time job. I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I think I'm going to ask for a bit more information. Namely, how many pages and how technical will it be.
