Egee's new home! (Patreon)

Earlier this week, I teased on Twitter that I was moving. I didn't really expect people to be so interested in it but I'm glad to talk about it with you all about it!

As an aside, I'd like to do more life posts like this one. This is less about Egee and more about the IRL stuff behind Egee and everything that goes into making videos and whatever else.

So a couple years ago, I moved to a new house in Washington and I was able to lay out a room for my projects. Unfortunately, the layout sucked and I've been struggling since moving here.

It wasn't ever "bad" but it was far from optimal. At my old house, I had an isolated space for projects and it was much easier to have time away from everyone & everything to focus on making a video, music, whatever.

A housemate recently moved out and the idea of taking over his space was floated and I jumped on it. I now have a literal studio, isolated from everyone! The only problem is that power is routed via an extension cable and the breaker pops sometimes 😅

This studio is absolutely perfect for audio stuff like playing music or making asmr stuff. I can also schedule my time so that I can have literal hours of uninterrupted project time. It's like a dream come true!

I'm hoping that having a new creative space with help reboot my interest in video stuff again. I'm working on a post where I'll explain where my mind is at later on.

Right now, my focus is on music and streaming and this new studio is absolutely perfect for that!
