Chakra Linux - Just Wow (Patreon)

In many ways, Chakra Linux embodies the climate of Linux in the early 2010's. Most distros simply did not work out of the box and the maintainers usually expected the users to just "figure it out".

I used nicer language in the video, but the primary maintainer of Chakra seems to be a total asshole and I'm so happy we, as a community, have moved on from attitudes like his.

I decided not to showcase the forum posts in the video but the maintainer straight up belittles users for not formatting their posts and questions correctly. Nevermind the fact that his distro is completely broken and users are just trying to make it work.

I'm super happy with how this video turned out. I replaced the outro "if you liked this video..." with an end card because I think it flows a lot better. It's hard to find music that works with my voice and delivery so I went with some ambient music for this one.

I've been trying to get "in character" more when I do the voice-overs and pausing less between segments. I've been listening to voice-actor interviews and stuff and it's really inspiring.
