My latest video sucked (Patreon)

My most recent video for the Egee channel has one of the worst like/dislike ratio of any Linux distro video I've made.

Was it a bad video? I don't think it was. But apparently the viewers did 👇

I worked on this video for over two weeks because I don't have much free time with the big move and everything else going irl. I can't say I was expecting so much criticism from such a simple video.

If you follow me on Twitter or lurk in our Discord, you may already know how I feel like my audience and the Linux community in general. To be honest, I've become very jaded by the community in general and I just don't enjoy making Linux videos that much anymore.

There are lots of other YouTube channels that produce Linux content exclusively, and I see new ones pop up in my feed  all the time; I don't think my Linux content will be missed that much.

Looking forward to the Fall, I want to focus on videos that make me happy. I enjoy coding and informational videos. And looking at the comments & likes for those kinds of videos, I can tell my audience does too. So I'll probably just stick to doing videos like that.
